During the early phases of growth responsibilities in addition to software development and consulting included: creating and implementing procedures for quality assurance, source control, defect tracking, system management, as well as performance review process. Also part of a team to establish Internet connectivity and the company's initial Web presence.

Responsible for management of two high profile projects: Remote Server Call (RSC) and Remote Server Object Model (RSOM). Duties include acting as liaison between Tandem (now Compaq) and Cornerstone, managing day to day activities of project team, resolving issues, reporting to upper management, and coordinating software release activity. Responsibilities have also included various development tasks as needed.

Past project responsibilities include project lead and manager for DynaAccess, a product providing Open DataBase Connectivity (ODBC) access to Compaq NonStop SQL databases. Responsible for design and implementation tasks, and coordinating development, QA, documentation, and release of the product, as well as interacting with customers.

Projects included:

• Leading a team to design and develop an electronic message system for provider of business to business messaging services
• Managing the development team for a major northeast bank developing and supporting a mutual fund pricing system
• Various contracting projects including institutional mutual funds trading system (returned to previous employer on contract to implement new features and functions), electronic funds transfer systems, credit card authorization, and back office accounting for investment systems.

Programmer/Analyst
1987-1988
As technical lead, designed and implemented a PC based institutional mutual fund trading system originally intended for 15 institutional traders. It now supports several hundred users successfully. Other projects included designing and implementing assigned portions of the first mutual fund system that prices mutual funds hourly, establishing procedures for managing new development, maintenance, and QA software environments. These projects involved user interaction, troubleshooting, and system installation.
